Grey Wolf’s versatile equipment fleet and expertise in drilling across a range of geologic environments and terrains makes it possible for the Company to pursue international opportunities that increase shareholder value and serve customers’ needs.
Grey Wolf currently operates a number of rigs in Mexico, where oil and natural gas exploration opportunities are abundant. Our international operations frequently differ from those in U.S. markets. Operational and crew support requirements, including housing and domestic provisions, are typically more extensive. On-site equipment requirements also are high in remote locales where access to equipment from area suppliers becomes limited. The Company has both the drilling and logistics expertise to address these challenges.
With experience in several international markets, Grey Wolf seeks opportunities that are suited to available rigs in its diverse fleet, which offers a high percentage of premium rigs targeted for drilling to depths ranging from 10,000 to 30,000 feet. Most of our rigs are suited to deep projects as well as the horizontal and directional wells that are enhancing oil and natural gas production on the world’s energy frontiers.
